The Holy Eucharist is the perfect expression of the love of Jesus Christ for man.” – Saint Maria Goretti

"If angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason:  Holy Communion" - Saint Maximilian Kolbe

Decorating Committee

"Beauty is indeed a good gift of God” – St. Augustine, City of God

We are blessed when we can be in an environment that enhances our appreciation of the beauty and wonder of God's creation when we worship Him together.

It is fitting that we prepare for worship by making our church beautiful for the Lord.  Our decorating committee provides the hands and feet to do all the big tasks, and countless little ones, to accomplish this.

If you are willing to assist in caring for and decorating our church, contact Jayne Higginbotham at 256-206-0266.  Christmas and Easter are times of joyful and special effort.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus (KoC) is the largest Catholic fraternal order in the world, founded on unity and charity.

Our KoC devote their time and resources to help those in the parish and community.  They provide resources yearly to the Birdie Thornton Center in Athens, helping adults with intellectual disabilities.  Look for their sale of smoked pork in the fall, it's delicious!

The St. Paul KoC chapter is always looking for a few more good men!  Join them in helping others. Contact Grand Knight Michael Lehr at 256-679-3784.

The Knights usually meet at 3pm in the Parish Hall on the 2nd Sunday of the month.

St. Paul Catholic Women

St. Paul Catholic Women is devoted to charity and support of the Parish.

The group sponsors the Church Yard Sale in October, always a popular event for the Parish and the community.  They also organize the Christmas giving program, helping those who need a boost including those who are sick and homebound.  The group supports parish activities throughout the year.

SPCW meet once a month, usually on Thursday mornings.  See the church announcements for the upcoming schedule.

Officers are Jayne Higginbotham, Chris Webb, and Marilyn Michael.  Contact Jayne at 256-206-0266.

LCCI Food Bank

Nothing is more basic to the Catholic church than helping others through works of mercy, such as feeding the hungry. St. Paul Catholic Church is an active participant of Limestone County Churches Involved (LCCI), our local food bank.

LCCI is a model charity, providing food and assistance to those in our area who need a helping hand.  St Paul's, along with others in Limestone County, support LCCI with generous donations of food, money, and volunteer hours.

Contact LCCI to find the best ways to help.   Watch our announcements for current food and supply needs.

Prison Ministry

As Catholics we are called to visit those in prison as a corporal work of mercy. As a parish, we support the prison ministry at Limestone County Correctional Facility.

Deacon Chuck Butler has led that effort for many years. Watch the announcements for ways that you can contribute as we bring faith and comfort to those in prison.
